How shameful it is that professing Christian churches and individual Christians so readily fall into lock-step with the federal government... especially when we have such a situation as we do now with the prosecution of an unconstitutional, unjust, and unlawful military attack upon the sovereign nation of Syria. Instead of speaking out against the "obamination", they make warm fuzzy statements that they are "praying for our troops and their families as our country enters another conflict". How about prayers that the corrupt leaders of our government are shown their error and the sinfulness of this unjust military action? Of course that might mean they could lose their precious 501c3 tax exempt status. And God surely knows, how they do value that! Personally, I pray our soldiers and airmen will remember the oath they took upon entry into military service, have the intestinal fortitude and refuse to comply with the unlawful orders of the obamination in prosecuting this unjust, and illegal conflict. Congress has not declared war, hence this is not a lawful war, but an act of unlawful immoral aggression by the (would-be) dictator Obama upon the sovereign nation of Syria. Has the 501c3 tax exempt status displaced God in today's churches? If not, where is the church's voice in Obama's unlawful act of aggression against the sovereign nation of Syria?
